Government Formalities Officer
We now seek an exceptionally organised and customer-focused self-starter to provide exceptional support to the Human Resources team for the Pearl Project
Reporting to the Human Resources Superintendent your role will be focused on ensuring all Government formalities, paperwork and administration is completed for successful submission.
You will specifically address the following accountabilities:
* Liaising with Government Agencies and obtaining required paperwork for expatriate work permits including KITAS, IKTA and permits;
* Interfacing with expatriate employees and their families to provide advice on regulations and requirements and a smooth transition to the project;
* Obtaining appropriate sea and air freight clearances from official agencies;
* Developing and providing reports to management pertaining to Government formalities;
* Ensuring an audit system is developed and implemented; and
* Providing generalist administrative support to the Human Resources team when required.
You will have solid experience working in a dynamic, corporate Human Resources team that will be complemented by your tertiary qualification. Previous experience dealing with government formalities for expatriates and the associated agencies will be essential along with your understanding of the cultural requirements of these employees. Your attention to detail, highly effective organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines will assist in your success in this role. Fluency in written and spoken English is required to assisting in your fluid and comprehensive communication with employees. Applicants will have a sound understanding and commitment to the BHP Billiton Charter, Guide to Business Conduct and Zero Harm.
This is a Jakarta-based role.
